Project Control Specialist

About the role

The Project Control Specialist will lead the planning, scheduling and cost control activities for large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring that all work is executed in line with approved timelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor the project schedule, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions.
• Manage cost control processes and support contract administration.
• Participate actively in change management between contractors, the Project Control Management (PCM) team and the client.
• Prepare regular project reports in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Create and update an Earned Value Management (EVM) system based on physical quantities.
• Perform any other tasks directly related to the responsibilities above.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or marine engineering; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project control and schedule management for large infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record on at least two port‑related projects of similar scale.
• Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling and control for complex developments.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Primavera P6.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Project.
