Project Engineer

About the role

Muna Noor Engineering & Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead building construction projects within its construction division. The role requires strong project management, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee construction projects from execution through handover, covering earthworks, sub‑structure, super‑structure, architectural finishing and external works.
• Lead site teams, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers, acting as the central coordination point between clients, PMC, consultants and internal departments.
• Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, cost estimates and resource allocation, implementing cost‑control measures to maintain profitability.
• Identify potential delays and risks, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with contractual, quality, HSE and timeline requirements.
• Coordinate procurement, material approvals, technical sub‑mittals, inspections and quality assurance processes, and prepare progress reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6–10 years of experience in civil engineering and building construction projects.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality assurance, HSE regulations and project documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of earthworks, structural works, architectural finishing and external works.
• Project planning, budgeting, cost estimation and cost control.
• Reviewing and coordinating engineering drawings, with practical knowledge of AutoCAD.
