Senior Quality Control Engineer - MEP - Railway

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Engineer to lead QC activities on a railway project, ensuring all civil, structural, trackwork and MEP works meet project specifications and railway standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project Quality Control procedures in line with specifications, approved drawings and railway standards.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements and other quality documentation.
• Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, trackwork and related works and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve quality issues.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Monitor material inspections, testing activities and maintain site quality records.
• Conduct internal quality audits and ensure timely closure of inspection comments.
• Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate QA/QC documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in Quality Control on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in railway, metro or major infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs and inspection procedures.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation and problem‑solving skills.
