About the role
Worley is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead clean-energy and power-generation projects. The role involves overseeing project teams, budgets, contracts and stakeholder relationships to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to the highest HSE standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, assign and monitor work for project teams, forecasting workload and progress.
- Manage project financials, budgeting and contract administration, including approval of additional works.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Contract, Operations) and external stakeholders such as ministries, electricity authorities and free-zone agencies.
- Supervise EPC contractors and consultants, certify documentation, payments and performance.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, award contracts and oversee execution.
- Conduct regular project meetings, site visits and report status to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, HSE policies and industry standards, reporting any incidents promptly.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in clean-energy and power-generation projects.
- At least 10 years in a Project Manager role within the same sector.
- Proven experience in tendering, budgeting, contract management and supervising EPC contractors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
