Shuttering Carpenter

About the role

An experienced Shuttering Carpenter is needed for a construction project in Oman. The role involves preparing, assembling, installing and dismantling formwork for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls and foundations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, install and dismantle shuttering and formwork.
• Ensure proper alignment, level, measurements and stability of formwork.
• Read basic construction drawings and measurements.
• Inspect and adjust shuttering before concrete pouring and safely remove it after setting.
• Use and maintain carpentry tools and follow site safety rules.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Shuttering or Formwork Carpenter.
• Good knowledge of shuttering and formwork techniques.
• Ability to understand basic drawings and measurements.
• Physically fit and willing to work overtime and relocate to Oman.

What we offer

• Salary of 125 OMR (about 31,000 INR) per month, including food.
• Overtime pay of 0.400 OMR per hour, about 65 hours per month, with 8 hours regular duty and 2.5 hours overtime.
