Project Manager – Hospitality (Construction & Development)

About the role

The Hospitality Project Manager will lead the design, construction and delivery of hospitality projects from concept to hand‑over. Reporting to the Head of Development, you will ensure each project meets SDIC’s vision, industry best practices and statutory requirements while satisfying all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the hospitality section, aligning with department objectives.
• Coach, train and evaluate project staff, setting performance targets and conducting regular appraisals.
• Manage the full project lifecycle – from concept, resource planning and risk assessment to vendor management and value engineering.
• Coordinate with government authorities, investors, consultants, contractors and service providers to ensure smooth execution.
• Oversee construction progress, quality, budget and schedule, and handle post‑contractual issues such as variations and claims.
• Ensure proper hand‑over of assets, compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, and prepare accurate project reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading multi‑disciplinary project teams within the construction or hospitality sector.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance‑management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate risks, resolve deviations and make decisions within defined authority limits.
