Project Manager - Oil & Gas Engineering

About the role

Worley, a global energy, chemicals and resources company, is looking for a Project Manager to oversee engineering deliverables for projects delivered under EPCM contracts. The role leads a multidisciplinary engineering team and coordinates engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations, driving quality, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee engineering deliverables for EPCM projects and design innovative technical approaches to complex engineering challenges.
• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and foster collaboration and continuous professional development.
• Drive work methods, processes and systems so deliverables meet quality standards within agreed schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations and other stakeholders.
• Promote the OneWay framework and Zero Harm behaviour, ensuring safe engineering and design practices and technical integrity.
• Manage engineering change control, coordinate technical and peer reviews, and identify specialist technical support.
• Monitor progress against objectives, schedules and budgets, support risk management, and promote lessons learned.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas design and engineering.
• Professional engineer status or equivalent registration.
• 5-10 years as an Engineering Manager leading multidisciplinary teams in Brownfield Oil & Gas projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in front-end engineering, detailed design, project execution, commissioning and start-up; Middle East experience is an advantage.
• Strong HSSE leadership and experience managing HSSE requirements across all project phases.
