Project Services General Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Services General Manager to lead the Project Services function for a major oil & gas project in Oman. The role will oversee multidisciplinary coordination, project controls, and delivery compliance while driving team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Project Services team, ensuring effective cross‑functional coordination.
• Establish and maintain project controls for cost, schedule, quality, performance and reporting.
• Develop annual delivery plans, budgets and forecasts; manage CAPEX budgets, cost estimates and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Monitor project performance and produce KPIs, dashboards and management reports.
• Manage project risks, changes and mitigation plans.
• Oversee document, drawing and data management, handover and close‑out activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE, quality, company and regulatory standards and support audits.
• Coach and develop team members to foster continuous improvement.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering Science or equivalent.
• Preferably certified as a Project Services Manager or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of oil & gas experience, including at least 6 years in a managerial role.
• Broad experience across operations, engineering, projects and project services.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching of diverse teams.
• Technical Authority Level 2 (TA‑2) is desirable.
