QA/QC Engineer – Power Plant (CCGT) – Civil Works

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to lead QA/QC activities for a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant during construction and pre‑commissioning. The role focuses on ensuring that all civil and structural works meet design specifications, regulatory standards, and project quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all civil engineering activities on site for CCGT and substation projects.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with EPC/Contractor, Owner’s Engineer, HSE teams, and project managers to guarantee smooth execution.
• Supervise site preparation, foundation construction, structural works, and related infrastructure development.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Address technical queries, provide solutions to civil engineering challenges, and mitigate risks.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation for project milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4–8 years of civil engineering experience, preferably on Open/Closed Cycle Gas Turbine projects.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to CCGT and substation projects.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in the power‑plant sector.
