Radio Station Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Radio Station Manager to lead programming, team, and operations of an English‑language radio station in Oman. The role focuses on strengthening the station’s identity, growing its audience, maintaining broadcasting standards, and supporting revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the station’s programming strategy, overseeing schedules, music selection, live shows, interviews and promotions.
• Lead presenters, producers and operational staff, managing recruitment, training, schedules and daily broadcast operations.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure reliable transmission, audio quality and compliance with broadcasting regulations.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing on sponsorships, branded content and advertiser campaigns while preserving editorial standards.
• Manage the station’s digital presence across social media, streaming, podcasts and other platforms to increase reach and engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in media, communications, broadcasting, business or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of radio or broadcasting experience, including two years in a management or programming leadership role.
• Strong understanding of English‑language radio programming, music formats, audience development and live production.
• Proven ability to manage presenters, producers, budgets and broadcast schedules.
