Reservation Agent

About the role

The Reservation Agent will be the first point of contact for guests booking stays at Alila Jabal Akhdar. You will handle inquiries via phone, fax, email and online channels, ensuring accurate reservations and delivering a high‑standard, courteous service that supports the hotel’s sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Record, process and confirm all reservation requests using Opera, Reserve and OPMS systems.
• Maintain accurate guest information, special requests and VIP profiles in the system.
• Balance room inventory, manage wait‑lists, no‑shows and amendments (extensions, early arrivals, departures).
• Promote and cross‑sell resort facilities, FIT marketing offers and World of Hyatt benefits.
• Build and maintain relationships with local travel agents and external partners.
• Plan weekly rosters in coordination with the Front Office Supervisor.
• Train and coach team members on reservation software and departmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, hygiene and hotel policies.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with guests, travel agents and internal teams.
• Proactive attitude toward team welfare, safety and development.
• Commitment to wearing the correct uniform and adhering to hotel standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera reservation system.
• Experience using Reserve and OPMS property‑management software.
• Knowledge of World of Hyatt loyalty program and benefits.
