Residences Concierge Intern

About the role

Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is looking for a Residences Concierge Intern to join its Residences team. The role creates memorable moments for guests, liaises with external partners to design unique experiences, and covers the full range of concierge desk functions. It is based at the Residences, an exclusive collection of 155 apartments offering luxury living with sea or mountain views.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all concierge desk duties regularly, including check-in and check-out, credit card handling, complaint handling and guest correspondence.
• Act as the first point of contact for guest relations and services, and assist with billing and invoice preparation.
• Prepare reports according to MOHG standards and uphold LQE, CQE and Forbes 5-star standards.
• Be present at the Concierge Desk during designated shifts and support the team operationally.
• Promote the Fans of MO guest recognition programme to guests.
• Handle guest complaints and comments tactfully and escalate them sensibly; maintain high standards of personal hygiene, behaviour and grooming.
• Follow quality, sustainability and FLHSS standards of the Rooms Division, and cooperate with other departments.
• Research and recommend the latest restaurants and activities in Muscat and the surrounding area.
