Retail Sales Assistant – Market Hall

About the role

The Sales Assistant works in the market hall area of the IKEA store, delivering a positive customer experience and supporting daily operations. You will help maintain store standards, assist customers with product information, and contribute to achieving weekly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked sales floor.
• Participate in inventory counts and store meetings.
• Follow all IKEA policies and procedures.
• Assist the shopkeeper with product arrangement and floor maintenance.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year retail sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Physically fit to lift products and stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
