Retail Sales Assistant – Market Hall

About the role
The Sales Assistant works in the market hall area of the IKEA store, delivering a positive customer experience and supporting daily operations. You will help maintain store standards, assist customers with product information, and contribute to achieving weekly sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and provide a welcoming first impression.
- Meet or exceed weekly sales targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked sales floor.
- Participate in inventory counts and store meetings.
- Follow all IKEA policies and procedures.
- Assist the shopkeeper with product arrangement and floor maintenance.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year retail sales experience.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Physically fit to lift products and stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
