Retail Store Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Store Supervisor to lead our store team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. In this role you will support the Store Manager, oversee daily operations, and ensure the store meets its performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the highest levels of customer service and provide staff with the skills and support required to maximize sales.
• Assist the Store Manager in efficient and profitable store operation in line with company policies and procedures.
• Take full responsibility for store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Promote the company’s Loyalty Program to increase repeat business.
• Provide feedback on employee performance and product issues to the Store and Area Managers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product, trend and fashion knowledge to minimise stock loss.
• Implement operating procedures and ensure compliance with brand policies.
• Conduct regular store audits and resolve administrative issues.
• Manage daily rosters, leave requests and staff grievances.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards at all times.
• Monitor store security and ensure vigilance.
• Stay informed about all group brands for effective suggestive selling.
• Perform physical duties, including standing for long periods and heavy lifting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a customer‑centric retail role.
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving and team‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales KPIs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field preferred.
