Revenue Management Director - A

About the role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, is hiring a Revenue Management Director in Al Mouj, Muscat. The role balances the financial objectives of different lodging products to maximise total revenue and profit from guest rooms, and is accountable for pricing, positioning and inventory of all hotels in its area. It is a full-time management position.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze revenue management data: review period-end and other system data to spot trends, needs and obstacles, track transient booking patterns, check distribution channels and generate regular reports and presentations
• Analyze weekly and monthly STAR information to review past strategies, identify competitor strengths and develop strategies to capture market share, and help build RevPAR Index forecasts
• Generate the yearly room revenue budget
• Provide input to property leaders on market sales strategy, implement and evaluate revenue tests, and ensure sales strategies and rate restrictions are adapted to market conditions
• Assist hotels with pricing, give input on business evaluation recommendations and recommend improvements to revenue management processes
• Ensure property diagnostic processes (PDP) are used to maximise revenue and profits
• Communicate brand initiatives, demand and market analysis to hotels, clusters, franchise partners and owners, and maintain relationships with General Managers, sales leaders, franchisees and owners

Required profile

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related major, with 1 year of experience in revenue management, sales and marketing or a related field
• OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in one of those fields, with no work experience required
