Sales Account Manager - Government Sector

About the role

The Sales Account Manager for the Government sector will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of key public‑sector customers. Reporting to senior management, you will act as the primary liaison, positioning TITECH as the preferred partner for technology integration projects across Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow assigned government accounts, serving as the main point of contact.
• Develop and execute detailed account plans, including upselling and cross‑selling strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and expand the solution footprint.
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue and gross‑margin targets.
• Present technology solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and respond to client enquiries.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales and engineering teams to prepare technical proposals, BOMs and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records and pipeline in the CRM system.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contracts in line with company policies.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve escalations and coordinate with service‑delivery teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably selling technology solutions to government organisations.
• Strong relationship‑building and account‑management capabilities.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical, pre‑sales and delivery teams.
