Sales Associate - Retail (Oman)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Associate to join our marine‑focused retail store in Muscat. The successful candidate will deliver an excellent in‑store experience, understand customer needs and help achieve the store’s sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify their preferences and provide product information, cross‑selling and upselling where appropriate.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the marine and leisure product range, promotions and brand initiatives.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed according to visual‑merchandising standards and keep the store clean and organized.
• Handle POS transactions, process sales, returns and exchanges accurately, and manage cash and card payments.
• Assist with stock receipt, price tagging, inventory audits and reporting of discrepancies.
• Participate in team meetings, sales huddles and product‑knowledge sessions, and communicate feedback to the Store Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a premium marine, sports or lifestyle environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive sales approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
