Sales Manager – Water (Instrumentation & Membranes)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth of water instrumentation and membrane solutions across Oman’s municipal, industrial and desalination sectors. The role will promote high‑performance liquid analytics, online process instrumentation and membrane technologies to key customers such as utility providers, EPC contractors and industrial plants.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and introduce new international manufacturers of filtration and process equipment to the Oman market.
• Lead vendor registration and technical pre‑qualification to place new principals on Approved Vendor Lists of major operators and ministries.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for product launches, building brand awareness among EPC contractors and consultants.
• Manage key accounts, ensuring newly registered products are specified in upcoming project designs.
• Prepare technical and commercial bids for tenders, ensuring compliance with local oil & gas engineering specifications.
• Track pipeline, market mapping and forecasting using Salesforce, and produce regular sales performance reports.
• Conduct client visits, technical seminars and attend project meetings across Oman, including interior oilfields and industrial hubs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of proven technical sales experience in water treatment, preferably with sales to Nama Water Services, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, PDO or major industrial operators in Oman.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate Oman’s vendor registration process and maintain a strong network of contacts in EPC, O&M and utility sectors.
• Strong understanding of water chemistry and desalination processes.
• Experience in managing tenders and preparing commercial proposals.

Required skills

• Water chemistry knowledge.
• RO plant operating parameters (recovery, flux, differential pressure).
• Clean‑in‑place (CIP) procedures.
• Online analytical instrumentation (pH, conductivity, turbidity, chlorine, TOC) and sensor technologies.
• Salesforce for pipeline and reporting.
