Sales Support Engineer – Omani National (Muscat)

About the role

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to strengthen its Electrical Products business unit in Muscat. The role focuses on supporting and expanding Siemens’ low‑voltage panel‑building and distribution sales channels, especially with key government customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the business unit’s financial targets.
• Prepare accurate quotations for low‑voltage products based on customer specifications.
• Provide technical and commercial support, answering inquiries and proposing suitable solutions.
• Process customer orders, ensure correct entry into systems, and monitor compliance with internal procedures.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply‑chain teams to track order status and communicate delivery updates.
• Engage proactively with government end‑users such as the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health, Royal Court Affairs and Royal Oman Police.
• Promote Siemens’ low‑voltage portfolio, highlighting value propositions and technological advantages.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with strategic accounts and identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Strong understanding of low‑voltage electrical products and government procurement processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with sales and internal teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of low‑voltage product range and specifications.
• Ability to prepare technical quotations and provide commercial support.
• Experience coordinating order processing and logistics.
