Security Guard

About the role

The Security Guard will join OCI's Security & Safety team to protect the premises, visitors, employees and assets. The role involves patrolling, monitoring CCTV, and managing access control to ensure a safe environment at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Provide access for visitors and prepare gate passes for external clients and vehicles.
• Verify the validity of gate passes and inspect outgoing materials.
• Secure drivers, employees and any person entering the plant, ensuring they wear required safety equipment.
• Patrol OCI properties according to the roster and monitor the punching system for staff and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV 24/7, report any security incidents and call ROP or the security head in emergencies.
• Inspect contractors, tools and vehicles, and ensure all contracts have a security badge.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; civil defence or safety training preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a security role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and follow security policies and procedures.
• Good logical reasoning to identify risks and propose solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of the work area, inbound and outbound operations.
