Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer (6+ PQE) – Tax-Free Expat Package in Middle East

About the role

We are seeking an experienced senior associate to join a leading Middle‑East banking and finance team. The role involves advising a broad range of lenders and both domestic and international borrowers on high‑value, complex financing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a variety of financing structures, including syndicated loans and debt capital markets.
• Draft and negotiate loan documentation, security agreements, and related contracts.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage transaction timelines and risk.
• Support the team in business development and client relationship management.

Required profile

• 6‑10+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) as a qualified lawyer in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the US.
• Solid banking and finance experience, either from the lender or borrower side.
• Experience in specialised finance or debt capital markets is an advantage.
• Currently employed at a highly‑regarded law firm in London or overseas.

Required skills

• Qualified legal practitioner in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Deep knowledge of banking and finance law and financing transaction practice.
