Senior Business Development & Marketing Specialist

About the role

Global Security Technology is seeking a proactive, commercially driven Senior Business Development & Marketing Specialist to accelerate growth of its technology solutions portfolio across Oman and the GCC. The role blends strategic planning, hands‑on sales execution and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development plans aligned with growth and profitability targets.
• Identify new markets, prospective clients, strategic partnerships and generate qualified leads.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations and tender submissions in coordination with technical and finance teams.
• Lead commercial negotiations within approved pricing and contractual terms.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasts and regular follow‑up.
• Manage existing client accounts, ensure consistent communication and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities.
• Develop and implement the company’s marketing strategy, digital campaigns, social media, website content and promotional materials.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and campaign performance to refine positioning.
• Coordinate with project and technical teams to monitor commitments, milestones and client expectations.
• Provide regular reports on sales, marketing activities, key accounts and business risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales or marketing, preferably selling technology solutions.
• Proven ability to win new business and manage long‑term client relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and proposal‑writing skills.
• Experience in the Oman or GCC market is highly desirable.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.
