Senior Director – Oman Lead

About the role

Virtusa is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Oman market, driving new customer acquisition and expanding the telecom business segment. You will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver differentiated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design solutions to complex business problems using Virtusa’s capabilities.
• Develop competitive proposals and presentations in partnership with the deals team.
• Structure complex deals, negotiate commercial terms, and close contracts.
• Engage senior client and internal stakeholders to influence significant business decisions.
• Provide leadership and vision to the account team to achieve revenue targets.
• Drive business development initiatives to grow the client base in the telecom segment.
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent Virtusa at industry events.
• Monitor KPIs, manage the account budget, and ensure financial performance.
• Implement best practices in IT service management, project management, and data security.

Required profile

• 15+ years of client‑facing or sales experience in IT professional services or management consulting.
• Proven track record managing quarterly revenue targets and pipeline.
• Experience with global service delivery models and complex business environments.
• Strong strategic planning, business development, and leadership abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of IT services, solutions, and market trends.
• Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
