Senior Flutter Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Flutter Engineer to join Thawani’s mobile engineering team and help build and evolve our flagship fintech mobile applications for Android and iOS. The role is hands‑on, collaborative and involves delivering secure, scalable solutions while mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Flutter applications for Android and iOS.
• Own features from technical design through production deployment.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable components following Clean Architecture.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and implement secure mobile development practices for fintech.
• Implement features such as digital wallets, QR payments, NFC, banking integrations, transfers, bill payments, and insurance services.
• Optimize performance, startup time, responsiveness, memory usage, and battery consumption.
• Handle deep linking, push notifications, localization, analytics, and crash reporting.
• Work with offline storage solutions like Hive and SQLite.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical interviews.
• Stay current with Flutter, Dart, mobile platform updates, and AI‑assisted development tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
• 1+ years of professional Flutter development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Dart and solid understanding of Clean Architecture.
• Experience publishing production apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Proven ability to write maintainable, scalable, and testable code.
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
