Senior Maintenance Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Planner to lead maintenance planning and shutdown scheduling across our mining, quarrying and crushing assets in Oman. The role offers autonomy to shape reliability strategies and influence operational outcomes across multiple regional sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead maintenance planning, shutdown scheduling and asset management for both mobile and fixed plant operations.
• Drive reliability‑centred maintenance initiatives, including root‑cause analysis and predictive maintenance programmes to improve equipment availability.
• Optimise spare‑parts strategies, inventory performance and critical asset planning to ensure operational continuity.
• Provide leadership to planning and administration teams, delivering KPI‑driven performance improvements across several sites.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance planning, reliability engineering and asset management within mining, quarrying, crushing, tunnelling or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of RCM, FMEA, RCA, predictive maintenance techniques and shutdown planning.
• Advanced expertise with CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo, Oracle or Pronto.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, analyse performance data and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
