Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs

About the role

Omantel is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its corporate affairs function, overseeing government relations, stakeholder engagement and corporate communications to protect reputation and align with national priorities. The role reports to the General Manager Corporate Branding & Communication and is based in Muscat.

Key responsibilities

• Implement corporate affairs strategies aligned with Omantel’s positioning and stakeholder priorities.
• Manage relationships with government entities, public‑sector stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor policy developments and assess potential implications for the company.
• Develop and execute technology communication and digital transformation narratives.
• Lead regional and global PR initiatives to enhance Omantel’s profile across key markets.
• Coordinate corporate messaging across branding, media and internal teams.
• Provide guidance on reputational risk management and handling of sensitive corporate matters.
• Prepare reports and briefings for senior leadership on stakeholder engagement and external trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a management position.
