Senior Materials & Corrosion Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Materials & Corrosion Engineer to lead a team of engineers in delivering high‑quality materials solutions for on‑shore oil and gas projects. The role involves managing multiple projects, ensuring design integrity, and coordinating with vendors and client personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Materials Corrosion engineering teams to produce deliverables on schedule and in line with QMS and client requirements.
• Develop and manage project schedules, work forecasts, and interface control across disciplines.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, design reviews, IPF classifications and HSE workshops.
• Implement ISO 9001 quality management processes and ensure seamless handover of deliverables.
• Prepare requisitions, evaluate technical bids, and oversee procurement of materials, equipment, SACP and ICCP systems.
• Ensure designs comply with international, client and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in materials selection from concept through FEED to detailed design.
• Extensive background in corrosion analysis, cathodic protection, risk‑based inspection and coating specifications.
• Hands‑on experience with metallic and non‑metallic materials in oil & gas environments.
• Ability to lead technical reviews and provide feedback on design standards.
