Senior Proficient, Commercial Planning

About the role

The Senior Proficient, Commercial Planning will lead the strategic integration of geospatial intelligence into corporate decision‑making. This role drives network expansion, market‑share growth and capital efficiency by applying predictive spatial analytics and GeoAI to commercial and infrastructure investments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise GIS platforms, ensuring accurate spatial data formats, coordinate systems and geostatistical analysis.
• Develop and apply spatial analytics, raster/vector analysis and geostatistical interpolation for site selection and network planning.
• Implement Machine Learning models (clustering, regression, demand forecasting) on spatial data to create GeoAI‑driven insights.
• Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate official statistics, mobile network data and third‑party location intelligence into a scalable GIS data architecture.
• Collaborate with telecom engineering teams to align planning with 2G/4G/5G and FTTH infrastructure constraints.
• Conduct systematic competitor and coverage mapping to identify white‑space opportunities.
• Create geographic segmentation frameworks (e.g., Stronghold/Weakhold/Battlefield) and geodemographic profiles for micro‑market analysis.
• Ensure compliance with population coverage obligations and territorial licensing requirements.
