About the role
Yokogawa is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth of its industrial automation portfolio across Oil & Gas, Power and Water sectors in Oman. You will act as the primary technical and commercial liaison for major customers, aligning their needs with Yokogawa’s value proposition and supporting the energy transition.
Key responsibilities
- Engage in customer‑facing activities and maintain relationships with major accounts.
- Generate demand for Yokogawa solutions through a structured “Demand Creation” process.
- Provide accurate business forecasts and contribute to achieving company targets.
- Lead technical and marketing initiatives, including inquiries, promotions, evaluations and proposals.
- Support customers in automation system discussions, delivering technical sales expertise.
- Coordinate with the proposal team to ensure timely, compliant proposals.
- Collect market intelligence on trends, competitor strategies and product offerings.
- Conduct frequent visits to customer offices and plants throughout Oman.
Required profile
- 7‑10 years of experience selling DCS, RTU, SCADA and safety PLC solutions, preferably in external or direct sales.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships in the industrial sector.
- Strong forecasting and account management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Oman.
