Service Technician – Earth Moving

About the role

The Service Technician – Earth Moving is responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers and skid steer loaders. The role involves on‑site fault handling, rapid response to client service requests, and ensuring all work follows safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform periodic maintenance on heavy equipment machinery.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to confirm proper functioning.
• Provide technical support to customers and maintain strong client relations.
• Manage central warehouse orders, regional spare‑parts sales, and payment processes.
• Conduct training and guidance for the service system.
• Collect and inspect service data, manage inventory of vehicles and new machine inspections.
• Organise spare‑parts shipping, quality assurance and used‑parts management.

Required profile

• Graduate or relevant college diploma, preferably in Automotive.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the heavy‑equipment or engineering‑machinery industry.
• Familiarity with excavators, bulldozers and skid steer loaders.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Oman driving licence.
