About the role
AZD Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Site Hydrogeologist / Geologist to support water and oil projects in Oman.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct deep well borehole investigations and evaluate storage aquifers.
- Oversee drilling operations, including mud‑drilling equipment, chemicals, and well material approvals.
Required profile
- B.Sc. in Geology with at least 15 years of total experience.
- Previous involvement in at least four similar water/oil projects.
Required skills
- Deep well borehole investigation.
- Construction knowledge.
- Approval of well materials (filter screens, slot sizes, gravel packs).
- Drilling & mud‑drilling equipment and chemicals.
- Hydrogeological evaluation of storage aquifers.
