Sourcing & Proposal Specialist

About the role

IDEAL ENERGY TECHNOLOGY LLC is seeking a Global Sourcing & Proposal Specialist to support its industrial machinery manufacturing business. You will manage the end‑to‑end procurement of critical components and prepare competitive proposals that align with client requirements and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and qualify new suppliers based on quality, price and delivery performance.
• Negotiate terms, establish long‑term relationships and maintain a comprehensive supplier database.
• Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and emerging sources.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to gather client specifications and develop detailed proposals, including cost estimates, timelines and technical details.
• Review and revise proposals based on internal feedback and client input.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, proposals and supplier performance, and generate regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or proposal preparation, preferably in industrial, oil & gas, engineering or MEP environments.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
