Sourcing & Proposal Specialist

About the role

As a Global Sourcing & Proposal Specialist at IDEAL ENERGY TECHNOLOGY LLC you will support the end‑to‑end procurement of materials and the preparation of competitive proposals for our industrial machinery solutions. You will work closely with sales, project management and supplier teams to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality components while keeping costs under control.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and qualify new suppliers based on quality, price and delivery performance.
• Negotiate terms and maintain ongoing relationships with existing suppliers.
• Prepare detailed proposals in collaboration with the sales team, including cost estimates, timelines and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales and project management to align sourcing activities with client requirements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date supplier and product databases and generate regular reports on cost savings and sourcing performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or proposal preparation, preferably in industrial, oil & gas, engineering or MEP environments.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using procurement software and ERP systems.
