Staff Nurse – Occupational Health (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to deliver occupational health services, emergency medical care, and employee wellness support within our organization in Oman. The role involves ensuring workplace health and safety, maintaining confidential medical records, and responding promptly to medical emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees.
• Assess and manage workplace injuries, coordinating referrals for further treatment when needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records.
• Support and coordinate health and wellness initiatives, including vaccinations and health screenings.
• Monitor workplace health risks and report occupational health hazards.
• Conduct health awareness programs, first‑aid training, and safety education sessions.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain medical equipment, emergency supplies, and first‑aid kits.
• Assist during health and safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with management and safety teams to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (GNM or B.Sc. Nursing) with a valid Nursing Council registration.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience for B.Sc. Nursing or 4 years for GNM; experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, or corporate healthcare is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Trauma Care certification (ITLS, PHTLS, or equivalent).
• Valid nursing license and required licensing examinations for Oman.
