Surgical Gastroenterologist – Oman

About the role

A leading healthcare group in Oman is seeking an experienced Surgical Gastroenterologist to join its multidisciplinary medical team. The role involves diagnosing, managing and treating a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions while performing both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Conduct routine and complex gastroenterology consultations and examinations.
• Perform and interpret gastrointestinal investigations, including endoscopic procedures.
• Manage acute and complex gastrointestinal emergencies and post‑operative care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology or Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
• Proven experience in gastroenterology and surgical/acute care settings.
• Strong clinical, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care.
