Switchgear Wireman / Panel Wiring Technician

About the role

A leading Omani company is looking for an experienced Switchgear Wireman to join its panel manufacturing team. The role involves hands‑on wiring and assembly of LV/MV control panels, distribution boards and MCC panels while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Wire and assemble LV/MV electrical control panels, MCC panels and distribution boards.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Install and connect components according to approved designs.
• Perform point‑to‑point wiring, cable dressing, ferruling, termination and labeling.
• Inspect wiring for accuracy, identify and correct errors or faults.
• Use hand tools, testing equipment and wiring accessories safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Follow company procedures, HSE requirements and electrical standards.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in panel wiring and assembly.
• Hands‑on experience with LV/MV control panels, distribution boards and MCC panels.
• Practical knowledge of electrical components and wiring practices.
