Teacher of Business and ICT

About the role

Knowledge Gate International School (KGIS) is looking for a dynamic Teacher of Business Studies (up to IGCSE) and ICT (Key Stage 3) to join its British‑style curriculum in Oman. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, assess progress and contribute to a positive, collaborative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Business Studies and ICT lessons that align with the school’s curriculum, policies and external assessment requirements.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring each student is challenged and supported.
• Regularly assess in‑class and homework work, providing targeted feedback to drive student progress.
• Maintain a classroom atmosphere that promotes mutual respect, student well‑being and a culture of high expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Outstanding practitioner with a genuine passion for Business Studies and ICT.
• Willingness to broaden teaching experience within an innovative, friendly and collaborative environment.
• Commitment to the school’s vision of developing confident global citizens.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Business Studies curriculum up to IGCSE level.
• Proficiency in delivering ICT curriculum for Key Stage 3.
