Team Lead – Aircraft Configuration and Control

About the role

The Team Lead – Aircraft Configuration and Control is responsible for overseeing the accuracy and integrity of aircraft configuration data across the fleet. This role ensures that all components, systems, and modifications are correctly reflected in the AMOS maintenance management system and comply with airworthiness standards, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate aircraft configuration (airframe, engine, landing gear, APU, components, software) in AMOS.
• Manage ETOPS configuration and ensure regulatory approval.
• Lead a team of configuration engineers, allocating workload and monitoring performance.
• Control data input, enforce traceability, and conduct configuration audits.
• Verify time‑controlled component counters and initiate corrective actions.
• Incorporate delivery, modification, and part‑replacement documents into configuration databases.
• Support airworthiness reviews, audits, and inspections with precise reports.
• Liaise with CAMO, maintenance, technical projects, and lease‑return teams.
• Drive process improvements in configuration control and data governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aircraft configuration management or a similar aviation maintenance role.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising technical teams.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks (EASA, FAA, Oman CAA).
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, planning, and maintenance departments.
