Head Barista

About the role

This full-time, on‑site position is for a Head Barista based in Muscat, Oman. You will lead daily coffee operations, craft high‑quality beverages, and create a welcoming café environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily coffee preparation and ensure consistent beverage quality.
• Train, mentor, and lead the barista team.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage café supplies.
• Uphold food preparation standards and safety best practices.
• Deliver excellent customer service and foster a friendly atmosphere.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in barista skills, including brewing coffee, drink preparation, and latte art.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to lead a team and interact with customers.
• Experience in customer service with a focus on exceptional guest experiences.
• Knowledge of food preparation standards and safety practices.
• Leadership experience, problem‑solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management and café operations is a plus.
• Relevant certification in food safety or barista training is beneficial.
