Technical Lead – Enterprise Payments & SWIFT Implementation

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive the end‑to‑end technical implementation of an Enterprise Payment Hub (EPH) for a leading banking client in Oman. The role will act as the primary technical authority, ensuring seamless integration with core banking systems, SWIFT networks, and various payment channels while meeting regulatory and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, testing and go‑live of the EPH solution across the bank.
• Deliver technical integration for ACH, RTGS, GCC RTGS, Instant Payments, SWIFT CBPR+, SWIFT GO and ISO 20022 messaging.
• Implement real‑time and batch interfaces between the EPH and Core Banking via ESB/middleware, handling exception management and automated reconciliation.
• Integrate EPH with mobile & internet banking, branch teller systems, corporate platforms, and host‑to‑host SWIFT APIs.
• Coordinate security reviews, penetration testing and audit readiness to satisfy Central Bank and SWIFT compliance.
• Serve as escalation point for technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong end‑to‑end experience with ACH, RTGS, GCC RTGS, Instant Payments and SWIFT (CBPR+, GO, API).
• Proven track record delivering at least one full‑scale Enterprise Payment Hub or SWIFT/ISO 20022 implementation.
• Deep banking domain knowledge covering domestic clearing, cross‑border correspondent banking, payment validation, posting, reconciliation and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with real‑time and batch integrations via ESB or similar middleware.
