Technical Service Executive - Protective Coatings

About the role

APME is looking for a Technical Service Executive to provide technical support for Protective Coatings products, based in Oman. The role covers site inspections, coating application support, customer training, troubleshooting and compliance with project specifications and industry standards. It works closely with customers, contractors, applicators and internal teams to support project approvals and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Protective Coatings products to customers, contractors, applicators and internal sales teams.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor coating applications and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Support business development and project approvals by preparing technical documents, product documentation and coating recommendations.
• Handle customer complaints, investigate coating failures and provide corrective actions and technical solutions.
• Run technical training programs, product demonstrations and qualification trials for customers and applicators.
• Collaborate with Sales, QA, R&D and Operations teams to improve customer satisfaction, secure project approvals and grow business.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the paints and protective coatings industry.
• Coating inspection certification such as FROSIO Level II, NACE Level 1/2 or equivalent.
• Good English communication and technical reporting skills.
