About the role
The Tool Pusher leads daily drilling operations on rig sites, acting as the on‑site representative of the company. This senior position ensures safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all rig activities while coordinating closely with clients and the Drilling Superintendent.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily drilling operations and rig activities.
- Implement well control procedures and enforce safety policies, QHSE, DOP, and SM requirements.
- Plan and oversee rig moves, crew scheduling, and operational execution.
- Lead emergency response, including well control, evacuation, and incident management.
- Maintain rig equipment performance, oversee inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Control inventory of assets, consumables, and materials.
- Maintain accurate operational records, logs, and IADC reports.
- Support well planning activities such as casing, cementing, and drilling calculations.
- Oversee camp standards, medical support, communications, and living conditions on site.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Valid IWCF Level 4 certificate.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in drilling operations or rig management.
