Visual Merchandiser – Furniture & Home Furnishing

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the presentation of furniture and home décor products across our retail showrooms in Oman. The role focuses on designing attractive displays, improving the customer experience, and supporting sales through strong visual storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute visual merchandising displays for furniture, home décor and accessories.
• Create inspiring room settings and lifestyle displays that enhance the shopping experience.
• Maintain showroom layouts that are visually appealing, organized and aligned with brand standards.
• Coordinate product placement, display rotations and seasonal merchandising changes.
• Arrange furniture and accessories to highlight product features, functionality and design concepts.
• Monitor stock levels on display and coordinate replenishment with sales and warehouse teams.
• Maintain visual standards, cleanliness and presentation quality throughout the showroom.
• Develop promotional displays and support marketing campaigns, sales events and new product launches.
• Analyze customer shopping behaviour and sales trends to optimise product positioning.
• Ensure pricing tags, promotional materials and signage are accurate and up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser in the furniture, home‑furnishing or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of showroom planning, space utilisation and visual display techniques.
• Knowledge of furniture styles, home‑decor trends, colours, textures and design principles.
• Excellent creativity with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
