About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Well Engineer I to join its operations in Muscat, Oman. The role focuses on developing well proposals, ensuring technical integrity of operations, and supporting day‑to‑day surveillance of well activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare well proposals and Basis of Design documents.
• Develop operation plans, programs, and approve expenditures (AFEs).
• Monitor daily operations, perform cost control, and manage risk assessments.
• Generate equipment lists, identify long‑lead items, and ensure effective project communication.
• Conduct engineering studies to resolve recurring issues and produce End‑of‑Well reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, preferably Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in well services or intervention.
• Supervisory experience and exposure to multi‑discipline operations is preferred.
• Valid Well Control Certificate.
