Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive accountant to join our Finance team. The role focuses on managing daily financial transactions, supporting VAT and corporate tax compliance, and ensuring accurate reporting and audit readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain complete accounting records.
• Process payments, verify documentation, and ensure timely, authorized disbursements.
• Maintain organized historical documentation for all entries and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer and vendor reconciliations to maintain accurate balances.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and timely financial reporting.
• Provide auditors with required documents and assist with audit inquiries.
• Update VAT declaration checklist and prepare quarterly VAT declarations.
• Assist corporate tax preparation by categorising revenues and expenses.
• Prepare monthly and ad‑hoc financial reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.
• Fluency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
