Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) Consultant

About the role

Bashaer Gulf Projects & Technical Services LLC is seeking an experienced Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) Consultant/Engineer to support multiple industrial projects, including pelletizing plants, smelters, and other heavy‑industrial facilities. The role focuses on implementing and standardising AWP methodologies to boost construction readiness, productivity, safety, and overall project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AWP implementation across several concurrent projects.
• Develop and manage Construction Work Packages (CWPs), Engineering Work Packages (EWPs), Procurement Work Packages (PWPs) and Installation Work Packages (IWPs).
• Establish Workface Planning processes and facilitate Path of Construction workshops.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, planning and construction activities to ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders to improve construction productivity.
• Support project scheduling, digital reporting and the development of AWP capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Construction Engineering.
• 12‑15+ years of experience in EPC or major industrial projects.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience implementing Advanced Work Packaging and Workface Planning.
• Preferred background in mining, metals, pelletizing, smelter, steel, aluminium, mineral processing, oil & gas or similar heavy‑industrial sectors.
