About the role
The Business Development Manager – Oman will drive sustainable revenue growth for Blue Spark Energy across the Sultanate, focusing on key operators such as PDO, OQ, Daleel and CCED. The role blends strategic account development, partner management and direct client engagement to expand the company’s presence in well‑intervention and production‑optimization sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with Middle East revenue targets, concentrating on Oman’s major operators and producing assets.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through technical engagement, commercial negotiation and contract closure.
- Prepare accurate proposals, presentations and commercial submissions following company pricing and approval processes.
- Support market‑entry activities, including framework agreements, vendor registrations and local partnership development.
- Build and maintain a high‑quality opportunity pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting via disciplined CRM usage.
- Identify and nurture repeatable multi‑well campaigns and long‑term intervention programs.
- Collaborate with local partners, agents and internal teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the oil & gas sector, preferably in well‑intervention or production‑optimization.
- Strong understanding of operator challenges and the ability to position non‑chemical remediation technologies as value‑driven alternatives.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholder groups.
Required skills
- CRM usage for pipeline and forecast management.
- Knowledge of pulsed‑power wellbore remediation technology.
- Experience preparing technical proposals and commercial submissions.
