Construction Division Manager

About the role

The Construction Division Manager leads the planning, preparation and execution of all construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule targets are met. This role interfaces closely with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver offshore and onshore structures safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full construction scope from planning through execution, aligning with project schedules and budgets.
• Act as the focal point for site safety, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance.
• Lead fabrication and construction teams, overseeing offshore structure build‑up to sail‑away.
• Maintain effective relationships with contractors, operators and EPC partners to resolve issues promptly.
• Implement Management of Change (MOC) processes, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor yard progress, identify risks and apply corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Support audits and improve contract and subcontract management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in large‑scale construction projects within oil & gas or heavy industry.
• At least 3 years in a senior management role overseeing construction, fabrication or project execution.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects and managing contractors/sub‑contractors.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of engineering standards, specifications and safety requirements for large‑scale fabrication.
• Experience with offshore and onshore facilities and fabrication yard operations.
• Strong understanding of construction execution plans, contract stewardship and risk‑based decision making.
