Senior QA/QC Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities on civil construction projects. The role ensures that all site works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract documents while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Conduct material inspections and approvals for cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, etc.
• Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors, and site engineers.
• Raise, track, and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Perform site quality inspections, witness field tests (slump, cube, soil compaction), and prepare inspection reports.
• Monitor concrete pouring, curing procedures, and reinforcement compliance.
• Maintain quality records, checklists, and ensure equipment calibration.
• Conduct internal audits, site quality meetings, and monitor subcontractor performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and support project hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in QA/QC for civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage NCR processes.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards and internal audit procedures.
