Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead civil engineering activities for high‑voltage substation (AIS/GIS) and overhead transmission line (OHL) projects. The role requires end‑to‑end ownership of planning, execution, cost control, and contract management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil works execution for EHV substations and OHL projects.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle: engineering coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contract schedules and key milestones.
• Manage multiple subcontractors for foundations, control buildings, tower foundations, roads, drainage, and fencing.
• Evaluate contractor performance, enforce contractual obligations, and approve work methods and schedules.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules using Primavera or MS Project.
• Control project costs and ensure delivery within budget.
• Oversee client and subcontractor billing, milestone certification, and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in EPC execution of substation and transmission line projects.
• Proven leadership of multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong planning, execution, and cost‑control capabilities.
• Experience in contract management and subcontractor coordination.
